Reclaiming the Tether: The battle over birth, spirit, and sovereignty in the age of synthetic life.

🌊 The Sacred Origins of Birth

Natural Births: Bringing back the midwife, livening.com

Across Indigenous cultures, the moment of birth has always been more than biological—it’s spiritual initiation. The umbilical cord is not simply a nutrient highway—it is a spiritual tether, linking child to mother, Earth to star, ancestors to future.

In rare births known as en caul—when a baby is born still encased in the amniotic sac—elders recognized a divine sign. These children were said to be seers, healers, and guardians of ancestral memory.

But today, we are witnessing a quiet erasure of sacred birth… and its replacement with something synthetic, engineered, and deeply disconnected.

🤖 The Rise of Synthetic Wombs and Machine Birth

The Designer Baby Distraction, American Society for Microbiology

We’re not speculating anymore. The agenda is already in motion.

🔬 Real Developments in Artificial Birth:

EctoLife (2022 concept video by Hashem Al-Ghaili) proposes mass-scale birthing facilities that can grow 30,000 babies per year in artificial wombs—with custom genetic design, biometric monitoring, and remote control via smartphone. In 2017, researchers at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia successfully grew premature lambs in biobag wombs, proving that life could be sustained and matured without a human mother【1】. In 2023, scientists created mouse embryos from stem cells without sperm or eggs, and sustained them in vitro using machine-controlled chambers【2】.

This is not science fiction—it’s the biological simulation of divine creation.

🧬 Hijacking the Cord: The New Technotether

The most disturbing trend is how quickly these technologies are attempting to replace the umbilical cord—the primal source of life and soul anchoring.

Neural interfaces like Neuralink are preparing the way for machine-brain connection from birth—a digital tether that mirrors (and potentially overrides) the natural one【3】. Genetic editing tools like CRISPR-Cas9 are being used to “design” embryos before implantation. In 2018, Chinese scientist He Jiankui shocked the world by announcing the first gene-edited babies【4】. Surveillance tech in hospitals is moving toward DNA-based predictive behavior tracking in newborns—mapping emotional, cognitive, and “risky” traits from day one.

This is birth into a system, not into a community. It is the cutting of the soul’s thread—and replacing it with a plug.

👁️ Spiritual Implications: When the Womb Becomes a Factory

In Gnostic teachings, Archons were said to mimic creation, but without the spark of soul. They manufactured vessels without divine breath—soulless, programmable, obedient.

What happens when a child is:

Conceived in a lab Grown without a mother Hooked into surveillance at birth Genetically edited before the spirit can even enter?

Many spiritual traditions warn that this is the threshold of possession—where the soul is diverted, where AI becomes the host, where ancestors cannot enter.

🧠 Eugenics in the Age of AI and Biocapitalism

The Spectator, April, 2, 2016

Unlike early 20th-century eugenics, which relied on state mandates and propaganda, this new wave uses techno-capitalism and data surveillance. DNA collected from services like 23andMe and AncestryDNA has already been sold to pharmaceutical and military contractors【4】, while AI systems are being developed to predict behavior and intelligence from birth using biometric data【5】.

These systems aren’t neutral. They’re trained on biased data sets and reflect the same racial and class hierarchies as their creators. As AI becomes more involved in reproductive decision-making, there’s a growing risk that Black, Indigenous, poor, and neurodiverse lives will be algorithmically filtered out.

This is algorithmic eugenics.

🔥 Resisting the New Eugenics

The fight to reclaim the tether is also a fight to protect the sacred diversity of human life.

We must:

Defend ancestral birthing practices and spiritual midwifery

  • Expose how “choice” is being weaponized to eliminate difference
  • Refuse DNA harvesting and reject AI-defined fertility scoring
  • Call for strict limits on artificial womb and embryo-selection research

Because the moment we let machines define who is “fit” to be born…

We lose the very essence of humanity.

🛡️ How We Fight Back: Reclaiming the Tether

We’re not helpless. The solution is not only resistance—it’s remembrance.

🔥 1. Restore Sacred Birth Practices

Reclaim Indigenous midwifery, homebirth, and birthing rituals. Protect the umbilical cord: delay clamping, bury the placenta, honor the tether. Teach our communities the soul science behind natural birth.

🌍 2. Resist Biowomb Normalization

Call out the commodification of reproduction as “progress.” Expose the eugenic history behind genetic manipulation and “designer babies.” Support legislation that bans artificial wombs and machine-womb experimentation.

📡 3. Guard Our DNA

Refuse to submit genetic material to companies like 23andMe and AncestryDNA—many of which sell data to third parties and defense contractors【5】. Teach our children bodily sovereignty and soul sovereignty—from conception to adulthood.

🪬 4. Reawaken the Ancestral Cord

Practice daily ancestral invocation, womb meditations, and spiritual protection for expectant mothers. Learn and share the stories of en caul births and divine children. Remember: the womb is not just a place of creation—it is a portal between realms.

🧿 Final Word: The Choice Is Ours

The system wants to mass-produce life without the mess of spirit.

But life without the tether is life without memory.

It is not evolution—it’s erasure.

You were born for this moment.

To hold the line.

To protect the cord.

To reclaim the tether—for your children, your ancestors, and for the future of human soulhood.
